Iphone 4 S question

My speaker will come on when I am talking on the phone for no reason. Is this a bug or do I have something in the settings set on something wrong? Thanks!

your speaker will come on whenever your phone thinks you are lowering it from your ear. It can be a bit touchy though. There is no way to turn it off. If you use head phones it won't do it.
